Entering its 15th year of operation, Real Estate Affiliates of Telluride is widely recognized as one of the region’s top boutique real estate offices. Founded by James F. “Jim” Lucarelli, President-Elect of the Telluride Association of Realtors, two-time Realtor of the Year and 25-year veteran of the Telluride real estate market, the company is committed to providing independent, professional advice and service for its clients – Buyers, Sellers and Investors.
As a small, boutique brokerage house, we provide the integrity, experience and professionalism needed for successful ventures in the Telluride area. We pride ourselves in providing personalized service backed by extensive expertise in our dynamic real estate market and are active members of the Telluride and Montrose Associations of Realtors and both Multiple Listing Services. Through our strong and proven relationships with all the region’s real estate companies, we can access and introduce you to any and all of the properties listing in the region and across the western slope.
In our 14-year history we’ve had some notable highs. Within 48 days of opening our doors in 2002 we listed and sold what was at the time the second highest-priced home ever sold in the Town of Telluride. In the same year we also listed and sold Casa en la Montana at a record price for Aldasoro Ranch in the early 2000s. In 2004 we listed and sold the second highest priced home in Telluride to close that year and in 2006 we listed and and sold the second highest priced residence in Mountain Village. Since then we have been active in all aspects of the Telluride market, from vacant lots and investment properties to condominiums to single-family homes and ranches. Despite our small size, Real Estate Affiliates of Telluride was the No. 1 producing office for number AND dollar volume of sales in the Town of Telluride in the first quarter of 2008 and No. 4 in dollar volume for the greater Telluride region. More recently we recorded the second largest ranch sale in San Miguel County in 2010 (and highest price/acre) and in 2012 our office listed and sold 330 W. Columbia for the highest $/sq. ft. recorded for a single-family home in Telluride in 2012.
As one of the smallest boutique offices in town, we are extremely proud of these results, particularly when compared to the 40+ person offices and will continue to use our flexibility to adapt our marketing strategies to the changing market to produce the best possible outcomes for our clients.
